Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh in Bank Chor

Vivek Oberoi has just been confirmed to join the lead cast of YRF’s Bank Chor. He returns to Yash Raj Films 12 years after his super-successful last outing with them, Shaad Ali’s Saathiya. He will be seen in a completely different role as a CBI Officer who turns the bank-chors lives upside down. Bank Chor is scheduled to go on the floors immediately and is planned for an early 2015 release. Added Vivek, “I'm really happy to be back in the Yash Raj family again, truly glad Adi thought of me for this role. Working with my buddy Riteish is always a pleasure, hope we bring our crazy chemistry to this one too! Here's hoping our entire team of Bank Chor steals a million hearts! “Loved the script. Loved the character. Loved the team,” Riteish, who is riding high on the success of Ek Villan said in a statement.

“I’ve always liked to push the envelope with the choices I make. This film allows me to potentially rip it apart. Watch out, there’s a new Bank-Chor in town,” added the actor.Ashish Patil, business and creative head, Youth Films, Brand Partnerships and Talent Management at Yash Raj Films, vouches for Riteish’s versatility.“From villainy to action in his upcoming Lai Bhaari, there’s nothing he can’t do! And withBank-Chor, Riteish is in a zone that’s serious strength comedy! He adds the scale, madness and weight that the project deserves,” said Patil. “The audiences are in for one hell of a ride,” he added.
